Your colors are too saturated, which tends to make it look fake. Your lighting is false, which also makes it look fake. Use softer brushes to even out your harsh areas of lighting and put some shadows in there. If you like using flat colors, then I would suggest choosing a dimmer palette, or one that corresponds well with your light source that you have created. Bright colors would not permeate the foreground of the warrior so much in this lighting scheme you have proposed. |

holy shit...what did you just say?...what does saturated mean and where does the light permeate the foreground in the lighting scheme i proposed?...you talkin about the orange highlights on the character?...what makes the lighting false?...what does false lighting mean?...i was goin for an anime look in this pic...that's allz i know...
