I drew and inked this one with a brush and Indian Ink today and painted it up in PS, hope ya like it. I'm not sure about the arm behind her back now that I look at it, the line is wrong somehow, Oh well

I like it Psionic, it looks as if she's been hit in the back though with the pose and the blood on the wall behind her. It might be cool to put a "what the fuck just hit me" expression on her face, I've not seen many pics like that.
Looks good just now though.

That's pretty cool dude, my only quarrel is her left eye, it's off a little bit. She actually looks like one of my ex-girlfriends ...creepy.

she's "ninja" cuz of the weapon...
it looks like the shading on her right (our left) arm might be off slightly, also with the blood it looks like she just stabbed herself in the back. I love it though, the face and proportions, as well as coloration are great |

She's got a ninja weapon right? Katanas? I can't remember. But great job, one thing that kinda bugged me was her dress. It looks flat to me, with no form because it is solid black like that. Even the darkest of black dressess and clothes have highlights/darker/lighter spots on them.
What I think would be cool to do with the blood behind her his put someone or something back there. Like she just swung behind her and killed it, like it was so easy. The expression on her face and her pose would help this out too. Oh well, enough from me, great job though. |

Thanks for all the comments, I'm overwhelmed and thanks to Resistanz for pointing out the name of the weapon for those who didn't know, I am surprised nobody mentioned it being a certain time of the month or is that just too naughty. Thanks for all the crit as well, its funny how you just dont notice stuff until somebody points it out
Thanks again for all the replies!!!!

I like the pic alot and I see what you mean about the arm. I think that the problem is that the forearm overlaps the upper arm, implying that the elbow is really far back and the forearm is in front of it. If the arm is behind the back then I think the upper arm should overlap the forearm, showing that the elbow is in front. Just my 2 cents, or shillings, or pence, or whatever you use. |

From what I read in Ninjutsu:History and Tradition by Masaaki Hatsumi, ninja's are very resourceful people and dont tend to say "I dont use this weapon or that weapon" they are creative and intuitive people who make the best out of any situation, maybe she killed her attacker with his (non-ninja) weapon, it just takes a little imagination.
I also tried a bit of highlight on the dress but it didn't look too good and looking at the reference photo I used, there is no highlight on that either so Nah :P

....I might make the dress look like sequins or something that would reflect and give the body some form, mmmmmmmm *walks off scratching chin*

Yeah, I have that book too (I train in Bujinkan) Just wanted to point out its not a _traditional_ japanese weapon. Sorry to be anal. Its not important in this picture anyway, besides, the female ninjas real weapon is her feminity |

Beardy: I have a feeling that a bullet hole in the left breast might make her slighty less alive

I think I'm feeling the coloring more than the actual drawing itself. Her big hair doesn't seem to sit right on her head. Other than that, I think I'm the only one that thinks this, but I kinda liked the first background with the blood on it. But that's a taste thing, I guess.
