Form... Value... Color... form... value... color... formvaluecolor... formvaluecolor... formvaluecolor...
Buildings are something you won't find much on my homepage. Dedicated today to get some done. Oh and those 3 words up there? don't pay attention to them, they're just some insane mumbling i heard the other day.
Oh and! Scroll to bottom of my gallery to see some kick ass deluxepaint 2 art :]

The first one's the strongest I think, because of the solid form and natural colors. The last one comes across a bit odd-when are there red shadows on a tower way up high? Not often when the sky's blue! Nice shtuff

Impressive!
I also think 1 and 2 are the best, because in #2 there isn't a good scale: it could be a enourmus building complex or the lego toys of some children. Adding some more detail or something we could define (eg:a person) would help ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

LOL, god no, i don't live anywhere near Kerava. Wait, actually I do live quite near that ... place.
I guess pic #2 needs to obey perspective some more to achieve the sense of scale, some familiar object wouldn't hurt either.

first is best, second fails due to strange perspective on the bridge things and a poor sense of scale, third fails due to not having much content, the backround is pretty vague and the foreground is uninteresting |

Hi gecko.
Pretty nice!
But I think they look a little too blurry. Especially the first one. Could use some sharp edges here and there. 3rd one is a little too blurry too imo.
But maybe you wanted that dreamy blurry look I dunno.

Hrrmh, didn't realize they looked that blurry to you guys. I intended them to be studies of value&color more than anything else, but I'll make sure the next ones look sharp, thanks for pointing it out. Janne mentioned the same thing, too.
So no, it wasn't intentional :]

light art. i love these colours-- looks like you're the only one on this board who uses them though, that's a shame. reminds me much of naboo atmosphere. light earth tones, yellows, light blues, reds and greens.. very, very nice colors. the buildings sometimes look a bit like they're floating in the air, but that's not so important. this is a nice change from the dark and sinister and the goth-fantasy/hard-scifi stuff that is dominating the "scene" as far as i can see.
