I've searched pics about the Shrike ( Hyperion novel creature ) on the net but there are not a lot of pictures developped on this theme so I've made my version. What do you think ?

Anyone has drawn a picture of the Shrike, or why not, anything related to Hyperion ?

God I love the Hyperion Cantos.

I havn't read the whole Hyperion cantos but I did read Endymion and Rise of Endymion and fuckin-well loved 'em. Great Scifi read, the church, PAX, cruciform and all that shit.
Great idea for a pic, although I did think of the Shrike as a much bulkier, hardier looking figure....more straight lines.

In fact it was hard to draw exactly what the Shrike was for me... I mean according to what I was feeling. That is why I've tried other styles, but the first presented on this thread was my prefered one.

I submit the 2 other ideas to show that on a same theme it is hard to find a good middle choice
