Hi all!
It's been a long time since I posted anything here. This is a landscape with two trees and a fence. The original res was 3000 pixels across or so... It was fairly quick to make, about 3 hours. Feel free to crit/paint over/whatever as much as you like.
I'm going to bed now. Good morning...

Jim -
Great pic! Since you said paintovers would be ok, I did a couple of push/pulls to try to push what you had. Nothing major, but I hope it pushes the depth a bit.
I tried to have the field recede a bit, introduce some purple in the tree shadows, and actually made the distan tree a bit smaller... The last wasn't really necessary (not that any of the other stuff was either), but I thought it worked compositionally a bit better... keep in mind this is purely my opinion...
Hope its useful...

Yeah, the paint over seems a little more right. But it depends on the person. The purple doesn't look right though in the paint over... |

hey, good stuff jim, keep up with the landscapes, you're inspiring me to get back into doin some myself, thanks :P
I do like most of the touch ups that liquid made to it tho, his version really pushes some depth into things through the way he used the colors
Although I agree with sahripper about the purple.
hmmm.. anybody up for a landscape thread?? :P
