Was inspired by Micke's Vampire sketch and how the shadow bent across the torso...

Yes.. this is supposed to be a vampire...

that's really nice
for me he looks more than a demon than a vampire and because of the highlights
it looks like he would have a very thick and hard skin
keep drawing kinda like your pics even more than your colorisation

on the top of a mans studies he looks like he knows nothing

Sweeet! It looks more like a superhero than a vamp though. Nice to see you sporting your other skills.

(you get an extended deadline on BC 8 or somethin?)

DINO/SILBER - I know. It's not the traditional vampire look. But I always thought of vampires as these otherwordly creatures that surely must be connected to hell in some way. Like the minions of satan himself, thus I guess the small horns. I also think that if you live forever and your only nutrional intake is liquid (blood in this case) you're going to get a bit skinny and lose any body fat, thus look a lot more muscular and thin. Lastly, I think the skin would have to be a very greyish white. Due to the lack of exposure in the sun, as well as proper nutrition.

Well, truth be told I just think it looks cooler

ISRIC Thank. I should start to tighten these up a bit rather than doing them this sketchy and "thick". It's just that the "day" job requires so much precision, that its nice to be more lose. I will definitely try to do some tighter stuff tho. Who wants to be this sloppy all the time

BUBONIC This one went really fast. Took no more than 5 minutes. Turned out a bit stiffer than I wanted though too, so its nothing to brag about.

CHAPEL I know, my true roots are showing. Not sure I would be capable of "real" art

FROST Thanks. I'm having fun and being inspired by all the great stuff on here. Also this last batch I don't lay out at all I just started slapping the colors down. I think it drags down the work a bit, but at the same time is really fun to do, and I'm sort of liking the lose results. But as mentioned before I gotta get tighter on some future stuff. Just happens that that reminds me of real "work".

BRADFORD Sorry to bore ya I'll try harder next time.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to drop me a line. Its always cool to get feedback (good or bad), but when it happens to be positive its just an extra boost!
