Four recent images.. quite a few things I would change, but this is my first posting on this board. I'm usualy quite secretive with my stuff, only giving out urls over IRC and the like, but I'm trying to branch out a bit...
Regardless, say what you think. If I can't justify it, it is valid, I can take it >- E

| i like the first one, kinda cool abstractness with the whole mother? thing. But i think your pictures have too many words in them, you should let the picture speak for itself instead of having to say your point. |

Bah, he's left me hanging...
Do people generally dislike heavy use of filters then? I have always viewed them as a tool to be used if appropriate, nothing more...

evil... your filters are fine. Most people don't like them because alot of people over-use them in very ugly and obvious ways. You, my friend, are not one of these people.
Beyond that, the idea that you're using too many words is... well... bullshit. I use words all the time. Words help to give breadth and a little mystic to pictures. The phrases you use in your pictures really help to bring about that Gigerian macabre.
In other words... you stay just the way you are. It kicks copious amounts of ass. |

The support is appreciated, though I wouldnt change unless something was genuinely justifiable bad practice.
I did take a look at the type comment afterwards, removed the layer with it on, and reassessed. In many ways, the image itself was stronger, but lacked the spin or direction on it that I hoped for...
Just one more question:
I respect Giger more than any other artist I have ever seen. I have never deliberately copied his works, and don't think they contain a likeness, yet people see a link. What is it?
