Here's a character for my Visual Design class at school. He's going to be in an illustrated children's short story in which a kid crash lands on a tropical island where he gets hunted down, boiled and eaten by the Tribal Man.

It's a different style to what I usually do and there are probably anatomy issues (even if it is cartoon style). Crits would be happily recieved.

How about a story where a tribal man crash lands in midtown Manhattan and gets boiled and eaten by corporate stock brokers.

Now that would be cool.

samson, check out synj's tribal man thingy at synj.net or something in the flash section. his is PRECIOUS though, you just have an average tribal man :-)

if the red spots on his cheeks are supposed to be the tribals, well they're hardly recognizable as such.

Dan: politically incorrect? You mean the character drawing or the story? If the character was something like White Trash Man I assure you he would have the same goofy features.

I saw synj's precious Tribal Man, haha! That's pretty hilarious.

Solitaire: the red spots were supposed to be just rosy red cheeks.

As for the skulls, hmmmm, what can I think of... I know! They are ornamental skulls so they are not to scale. Either that or the Tribal Man has used shrinking-head magic.
