I sincerely wish I had something useful to say, but I don't. I just feel a need to point out, as a huge Tolkien fan, that this is one of the best renditions I have seen of Middle Earth.

Thank you.

I don't usually like landscape pictures, but this is just beautiful. Great work. I can always find something to nitpick about though.. hmmm.. the upper left needs something I think to help balance out the composition. Maybe a cloud and bird flying close to the viewer?

Very nice indeed!

The way you have the lighting on the rocks is awesome!

As with regards to the Tolkien aspect, one word. Formidable'!

Adding my "very nice" to the thread...don't even want to look for a crit And it really does look much like I've envisioned it.

I have no crits whatsoever. That is simply amazing. I haven't come across a landscape that compares to this in quite a while. From the subtle fog along the tree line, to the grass and rock textures, everything in this piece is wonderful. I can't imagine what would happen if you used photo reference? Probably very little, since it looks great as is.

Hope to see more from you soon.

The pic is good but the mountains you should use flash or Adobe photo to make the mountains look more real.

This letter IS fabricated. Look at the end of the page in small there's some stuff written. I personally am glad it is fabricated. LOTR on TV with commercials would have sucked big time.
