well, hehe uhm. . . .yes I'm still doodeling out pictures from my silly ideas....
I heard the latest about Britneys consert in Rio, and decided to draw her. I know it doesn't look much like her, but I didn't even bother to find a photo, I just wanted to make my very own Britney

I know this is very silly post, hehe. But, since it never was a january -draw club-....how about doing your own britney instead ? feel free to post it here.

Just one little complaint... look at the size of those feet, and why is the boob farthest away bigger than the closest one? (ok so that was 2 complaints)

Doesn't matter that it doesn't look like her (which it does if you half-shut your eyes) it's still a cool pic, I especially like the pink highlights and red lighting. The concert feel is well captured.

No complaints here, I'm still a devout Joachimite!

Guy: it is foreshortening.. think about how large that back boob woul.... hold on lost my train of thought..boob..round..shiney.. ok and we are back.. think of how big that boob would be if you were looking at her straight on. Abnormally large.

Hey Joachim *G*, very nice painting

I think the top torso is a bit too turned right (in digital Britney's case) Maybe I am wrong because I have never really taken any figure drawing classes like you

So maybe you know a bit more about the human figure than I do. Her crotch also seems a bit weird, like on the left shadowy part?

Other than that, I really like the plastically shading as well as the floor and background. Keep it up, mate! You've been taking on alot of drawing initiatives in the past week or two, very good

well, I fixed a bit...the things you pointed out chap... didn't amke the feets that much smaller, since I want them a bit big

snake, maybe youare right, I'm no able to see that at the moment...maybe just because I rushed it out, and haven't really taken a second look at it yet. Though, it's supposed to look likt the body is turning from shoulders to torso, but I guess it looks wrong anyway ?!?

btw, nobody else wants to give it a shot ?

Very nice picture. Totally captures the feel of the concert. For some reason also reminds me of those "misty" scenes they have on star trek when there's a girl.. but anyway.. I don't know, her posture looks really painful to me. Then again, she's gotta lean back to balance her center of gravity.

Anyway, good job on the picture.

Not a Spears fan, but hey... A tad more blurry than most of what we see from you. Still poking around with the airbrush? I like how you've been playing around with different colors of the spectrum recently (r.e. your underwater piece of a day or so ago). Those kinds of studies are always good lessons...

If I didn't hate Britney Spears like the plague, I'd probably post something more meaningful..

You'e 0 for 2 on celebrities, Joachim... I don't like Walker: Texas Ranger either, eheheh! The show annoys me greatly (but your pic was quite cool in spite of Chuck Norris' faults and his intense evil and all of the child and kitten-eating he is blamed for.. oh yeah.. and for taking a crap on the Pope... Chucky should watch his manners ya' know).

You drew a nice standing angle on that body there in this Britney pic. Cool

I think you guys take too much pride in knowing if and how the boob's are out of perspective / porportion ;-) hahahaha....

just a side note: just for fun and look back and read all the threads with picture of women in them. All that's discused is boob size LOL!!

Its a part of the anatomy.. just like feet, hands, arms..

Plus guys are attracted to them, so it will be something that stands out. I hate drawing women for this reason. I feel like if I mess up the breast does that mean it looks like I haven't seen enough of em? I know I am in constant search of reference material though.

Actually, I don't like britney, and I don't like walker texas ranger. But, I like to draw whatever I come up with, and sometimes I like to do what people hate...I don't know, I just guess I like to do stuff with some sense of "humour" at times.
Also, michiko did this one which inspired me to give it a go.

i really like the colors in your pic! i am just starting to try doing colored pictures and i have some serious problems here :-), so I always admire your work!

btw, I have a $2 Spice Girls poster in my flat...I'm not a fan :-) but maybe that's my very special sense of humour :-)
