I like the pic, the bottom lip bugs me a bit but I like the overall pic, good work!

Hey Sear, I really love the specular/reflective effect you achieved on his skin, looking very good. =) But his bottom lip section sort of bothers me as well. =)

Unlike the others i love the bottom lip, of course if your goal was a realistic portrait the bottom lip is bad, but i think it adda good cartoony/strange/odd feeling to the man, a bit like the exxagerated faces of the villains in dick tracy ...

you have a really fun and interesting style and all your pics have these sort of exxagerations somewhere, and i like it

yea! really good as always. the bottom lip is hard one because like this(as incorrect it might be) it adds lot to the expression and if you alter it too much that might be ruined. be careful when fixing it
i also like how you are not using the darkest darks in the eyes but as a more graphical element in the hair. something you have been using succesfully in your other pics too.

whassup?
thanks guys for precious feedback.
i perhaps forgot to mention that while drawing this pic i knew for sure that the lips were kind of
weird. the sketch just started out this way, and i was pretty satisfied with the shape of the
whole sketch. yeah, it's obvious that i could fix these lips, but as janne said (and i do have the
same point of view about this), changing the bottom lip might (or simply will) ruin the pic. in my
humble opinion it gives to this visage an interesting (at least to my eyes) feeling or expression...
you know, i do take all your comments really seriously, and thanks for them, but i doubt i'll change
the lip, don't get me wrong, no offense meant, i just like it that way. CHEERS
but, i guess i can also do normal realistic stuff, with right proportions and stuff. i'll post one day
a "normal" pic...

psionic: hey, thank u. well, i know this bottom lip is twisted
frost: thanks mate! i was pretty happy with the lighting in this pic as well
mime: thanks. everything has been said about this weird bottom lip
janne: thank you janne (i love your last pics... )

Ooooh, I like this one. Actually, I like most of your stuff. I really like Scott Sinclair(well worth checking out if you haven't heard of him), and your work reminds me a lot of his. Keep it coming!!
