Great picture Enlaya. although... I can't figure out how it's reminiscent of summer... maybe just running around naked in the house? :_). Hehe, looks like you like to use a lot of those sparkly dusty things. Anyway, keep it coming!

This is an interesting picture. Very smooth as per your style

My only complaint is with the ear, it doesn't match the quality of the rest of the skin shading.

Great darkening of shading as the body is covered in darkness/water!

Wow. I love this picture. My favorite of yours by far. Just one little thing I think it needs. (don't think me as a pervert) I think the nipple shouldn't be blurred out. Very beautiful colors though.

Summer as in a mid-summer night's dream?

I love the female figure a lot but the ears look as if they are sticking out too much and too flat... :P

Thanks everyone for your nice comments/crits!

EviLToYLeT: Heeeh, there /is/ a reason for the title, and trust me, it does go along with the image. It only needs some thinking. As for the sparkly things, yes, I am very fond of making things seem like they glitter. In a way, I guess it's part of my style (especially if it is a picture that goes in bluish tones).

Awetopsy: I am very much aware of the not so smooth shading on her body - this was a conscious decision

Shaded: Heheh, I'd rather not have a bruised back

Sergenth: Looking at it, I can see the ear looks just a wee bit odd. Might fix that, I don't know. (I was reading the Digital Discussions, by the way, about the smudge tool (there's some people who do NOT like it) and how it makes all pictures look blurry. I don't have painter. This is all Photoshop, and I use the smudge tool quite a lot - to get the smooth quality that I want. It's just a matter of knowing /how/ to use it.)

Rossimo: Glad to hear that!

Chapel: *Hangs head* I can't draw nipples! Or rather, I can't place them, not if I don't have a reference picture I work after (which I didn't, now). If anyone want to help me out with this, feel welcome.

Bloodsugar: Naw, not as in Midsummer Night's Dream

(Edit) Someone posted while I was typing.

Enayla, what size you you usually draw these in? Large enough to be printed or screensize? That forest stuff and now this one would make great posters.

Spooky: Thanks

Spitfire: It varies a whole lot. I'm sorry to say that this one isn't that big (I didn't know it would turn out so nicely. Another of my "I'm in the mood to doodle" pictures) It's 24.55cm x 10.87 cm in 300dpi. If I change the dpi to around 150, it's about the size of an A3.

This is the size it's in. Her mouth, not resized at all.

Yay! I told you it was good.

I love the blueness of it all. It's just so perfect for what you were portraying. Ooh, and you fixed up her hand, too. Hoorah!

*finds it mildy amusing that nobody got it*

Thought it was pretty obvious, myself, but maybe that's just me... either way, without ruining the mystery for anyone else, I can safely say this picture still makes me sigh, every time.

SlightlyTwisted: Well, you usually understand me pretty well!

Adezj: Oops *sheepish*... that, my friend, was because I had a darker screen setting than you, and I didn't notice I had used a dark grey to shade there, and not black. Fixed it now, if you reload the picture.

Hmmzz...upscale (in 300dpi) to twice the size, apply a slight gaussian blur, print out at 150dpi, A2 poster. Looks fine.

Make them bigger, make posters of em, sell em over the internet. E-commerce, baby.

I really love this one, although I like your Ceriee4.jpg better. Maybe you should fix her left ear, it looks really weird this way.

Spitfire: If I only had a printer like that :/ Welllll.... I'll think about it. Might be a good idea, though I can't see who'd want this as a poster. *chuckle*

Solitaire: Haven't seen that movie I'll just take your word for it. *still pondering this poster thing*

ReSistanZ: I'm too tired to fix the ear right now Maybe later.

craig: Heh, there's more of a feeling behind this one than an actual character. I have yet to invent her as a "person"...

one thing that seems a little strange to me. Her mouth seems to be surrounded by a kinda flat area. I think the mouth area sticks out a little bit, just a tiny bit more.

Dan: You might be right about that... Hm...

Chapel: I mean that I used no reference picture when I made this one.

Pfft...

Reference is good, if you use it the right way... This face has too much in common with my own face and that annoys me (happens when I don't look at /any/ pictures while working)

I would go around killing people with lawnmowers for one of those forests in oversized poster format. So there.
