Nice job Mr McSteed.
It appears almost to have been produced in the 60's. The style in which you've painted it, especially the skin....though perhaps the drawing itself has something classic about it.
Fred was taught by an oldschool master if I'm not mistaken.
Very cool ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

Actually Fred was taught by recluse group of Belgians that live in Madagaskar. Apparently he was forced to poach Lemers all day and draw all night.
Though this may just be a ugly forum rumor.

McSteed,
I think you've got your facts a little mixed up. They were bulgarian, not belgian. They live in the jungles of borneo, not madagascar. I should know. I helped my uncle do their drywall.

Your uncle did their drywall?!. My father designed the deck extensions.....a somewhat early nouveau implementation.....amazing...

Poach lemers? That's some back breaking work.
Lemers = Ron Lemen? Is there a mysterious connection?

Well, well,
Doing your own stuff on your own time eh? We'll see about that.
Great Job Chris, I like the color pallete a lot and the treatment of the face is solid.
My only crit is that maybe you should try to develop more contrast between the clothes and the skin. Not like super shiny or anything like that, but maybe bump up the light and dark planes a little, or hit it with a couple of hightlights.(Hair too)

Yes I've said that many times myself. In fact I said that no less than 4 times this past saturday. But I'm working on that part.

ohhh, niiice ! The drawing is great, and you did a very nice colorong job.
the latex, don't look like latex anymore though. But, I was thinking, you probably wanted to make another fabric, I guess. Kinda look like some fluffy skin texture, don't know what it's called, but I've seen that before....very sexy too
