Hi, welcome to the forum. Cute kitty, indeed. I like the colors, my favorites infact. Only thing I'd do different is try and experiment with different line thicknesses to indicate form more since you've used minimal coloring in the piece. Only my personal style talking, though, I still like it as is. Again, welcome, look forward to seeing more!

Thanks Flinthawk, I really appreciate your tips Really this is only the second time I've colored something in photoshop and I'm just starting to fully explore everything.
I kinda did this picture the hard way because I didn't ink it like I should have ; I just stuck the scan in Photshop and cleaned it there. Next time I'll ink my drawings... it's a lot easier! Plus you can get a really nice line. |

That's one cute cat.. cool style.
flinthawk is right about the lines- you should try some different approach , perhaps working with vectors (flash/freehand etc) will help you get more control over your lines.
one small technical suggestion- line art looks extremely bad in low quality jpegs, so- either save it at a higher quality (reducing the image size to maintain a small file size), or export it as a GIF image. |

I dig it. It would make a great logo, too, because of its cleanliness and simplicity. Very nice.
