Aw, poor guy! People should appreciate those with larger ears...think of all the free satellite stations they receive!

Ha. No, really. It's a wonderful expression and a wonderful character. ;} I like the subtle coloring you've chosen.

Oh, that reminds me. The skin tones of your guy's hands are not matching the face. Other than that, this rocks. ;}

More, please. ;}

[edit: oh, geez. now the tones look fine. weird. it changes depending on the refresh.]

Yeah I like those colours, nice top...oldschool flavour.

Cool pic, can you remember what you originally were trying to say with it?.

And what does that Z on his shirt signify?

hehe that Z looks like my company's logo. Just smack on two dots on each side and there you go

great pic, micke. for some reason it took me a second to know what was going on but don't tell anyone that.

Friggin' Innerloopers.

Looks very nice. I really enjoy your flat shading..you pick such perfect values, they blend together nicely. Overall, I actually like this type of your work more than your paintings. I dunno, maybe it's the simplicity of the figures, etc. You need to get some of this stuff vectorized and printed in like 60" by 120" posters. I'd buy em in a heartbeat. Your work has really inspired me to keep my line stuff as simple as possible. Getting basic shapes in 1 line rather than in 500. For that I thank you

That's like me when I have to draw an ear on someone...
Those muted colors are great. It reminds me of when comics used to be printed on newsprint. You'd get ink on your fingers if you touched it for too long.

Merekat:
I changed the hand now. It was caused by the gradient that i used over the picture.
Thanks..
Sedone: Those were the golden days, eh?
When comics actually smelled comics.
Sempere: No brush or pen were used. Just a
HB-pencil.
Poxen: Thanks! Use your own hands!
Probably the best refference there is

Lukias: I don't remember what it originally was for. It was just the sketch with the guy
and that's it. I just tried to draw it
better and it turned into something.

Sergenth: The "Z" was meant to be some kind of brand.
Opticillusion:Thanks!

Synj: Thanks alot! I guess the bubble with the ear was just smacked on in the last minute in order to give the picture something to say...
mjmcchesney:
Thanks, i enjoy doing these cartoony things once in a while. I like simple things
that are as clear as possible.
Poxen: Oh, you can still paint your own hand. It's the best way i think. study your hand like you would study your face. I could try to explain in more details, but i don't have time right now

Bizarde: He sure did!

Thanks people

Very unique style micke. I don't know which way of your colouring I like better this or the more realistic one but all of your pics are great. Show us more of these.

Someone up there in that long list of replys...said as Tom Hanks did in the movie Big.."I dont get it"... I got it the guy is being talking about to the right AKA the balloon with the big ear. And looks shocked that they are talking about the ears.

Haha! This one's weird. Love your style, micke. The hand could use some shadows...
