This pic was inspired by micke(and so by schiele).Some time ago micke posted a picture of a face; he tried to make the face look ill drawing partially colors in the face which don't match

Schiele did the same but much extremer(some looked like corpse)

I coudn't handel my face looking ill;there have to be many mistakes in the pic so please criticize it
especially on the coloring

they are good

i kinda like your color choice but i think you should try to refine more, you have blocked the colors and detailled a bit, but you should add more detail and maybe more transition color (im not saying to smudge but to soften some of the transitions (not them between the light and dark area tough, these one are good))
I like the hair too

"mal" doesn't always mean "bad" or "evil". In this context, it means ill, sick, depressed ...

edit: Just wanted to say that I like the first picture better. About the face, the nose looks wierd, same with the fingers. What really annoys me though is his hair, they seem to have no direction or shape. Nice mood anyway, I love the colors you picked for the background... I also like how it look he's painting himself.

Sorry if I can't tell you how to fix anything, I'm really not good at painting. I'm just saying the impressions I get from your picture. I hope this can help you anyway.

in fact it's a stupid wordplay
the original titel was �tre mal-er
�tre mal= to be ill
maler(german)= painter

NilreMK: you are right; I don't like the nose either, in my sketch it looks so nice but I can't get it right

I know it looks like he is painting himself
but that's not I wanted to achieve;

He's painting hiself healthfully

Any other comments?

fixed the nose and refined a bit

I dont know exactly what it is but this pic really captured my attention..
I guess its the strange atmosphere that the colors create or this guy painting himself.

NilreMK: 'je me sens mal', ou 'je suis malade', ok, mais 'etre mal' ou 'je suis mal' ca veut strictement rien dire. Ca veut peut-etre dire qq chose au Canada mais pas en France!
