OK, I got another name and it's NeroN and have posted Waldo pix...FYI. Started with design, modeled and textured in 3D. Ed--

That looks really cool. id like to see more shots as well. one other thing. black backgrounds are not good for when you show off models. hard to see the details, just thought id mention that. do you plan to animate this thing at all? could be cool

this is awesome! but what is it? space toilet?

did you draw the ellipses? or did you construct all the elliptic shapes? (i usually construct ellipses by parting the x- and y-axis of the surrounding rectangle into 8 parts each and well you know the rest works .. but yours look so damn fluid ..)

No, not space toilet.. it's a waldo like device inside a large robot. The operator controls by using his/her arms and legs. The ring in the middle holds up the operator by the waist so to get wide motions of the limbs. Yeah, the ellipses are drawn with ellipse guides. Ed--
