Or, self portrait of someone else rather? I did this at work in about 20-30 minutes trying to look down into a CD reflecting my mug. I really don't think I look like this, but it resembles me closely. Why I look so different in the reflection than this picture is beyond me. I could go on forever about how I may have captured alot of the lines properly but not how I look. Go figure.

Anyway, just felt like sharing my first digital attempt at one.

Looks pretty cool. Maybe you should include a small picture of yourself to compare it.

That's a swinging, jazzy, cool portrait. I see the host of flatheads are at your beck and call.

It would help if you looked a tad bit more insane. All artists need that edge :P Just look at Joachim's self-portraits!! Yeheheehe!!

As for the animation... what the hell is that? Reverse sign language? Me and my sis cannot figure out what that mad hobo is trying to do! Truthfully, I may never know, but regardless of that, I really like the arm motion when he is popping up!

Try for some more spastic action when he is swithcing poses - nothing that requires extra animated recoil though!!1!11!! After he pops up, he kinda moves at the same steady pace and falls back down at that same slower pace.

sergenth: hehe yeah i know I was thinking that as I was completing. "hmm.. i sure look bored. i forgot its me thats the subject matter".

as for the animation comments - well, basically I just wanted to test out his range of crap that I could do. It started as him threatening someone in the middle. I agree with you on the pace changes, but I never really animated anything moving that slow inbetween and wanted to give it a shot. thanks for the detailed critique! I'll keep that stuff in mind.

Sorry synj. By the title of your thread I thought you wanted everyone to post their self-portraits. My bad. . .
