These forums hold a large number of people and consequently, a large number of threads. I click on em all, actually read through the ones I find interesting.

Trouble is this. When I see a shit image, I dont have the heart to post in response to the ever present 'crit as harsh as ye want, be brutal', etc. Not my style. So what do I do? I end up ignoring it.

And this is not good. I realize ya hafta offer...errh, constructive criticism, but whowch, Im no seasoned critic. If you arent born with the talent, or havent worked to improve it for a hella long time, well, blarg, no amount of blatherin from me is gonna make it that much better in the next draft.

Obviously there are threads with impressive pitchas where someones already said what I wished to voice. So I leave those, satisfied that the artist knows what to do to improve the work.

So, ah, apologies. eheh.

Ahm. Last funny thing I note here is how some threads have compliments and pretty flowers gushing out for spoogie, liquid, and all the other granpapas of digital art. Eegh, sommathem comments make me wince, reminds me of goopy sap being poured all over the guys.

Na dont get me wrong, pretties. Im most impressed with a hella load of art on this forum. Hell, its what inspires me. And whoo, Im far from good at it. But yeesh, keep ya dignity on eh?

As a parting shot, these are just quiet remarks. Dont let em get to ya.

Hey, I kinda like the bashing critique, as long as it's at least somewhat constructive. I'd rather know what people don't like, so I can remedy certain areas with future pictures.

On that note, you're more than welcome to criticize any BAD things you find on any of my posts.
