What? No replies here? damn... =/
Gecko buddy, that looks real nice, especially for the time it took you (as mentioned on ICQ). Judging from the time it took you, it really seems as though you've gained better knowledge of blocking and simplifying... but then again, I don't know ****.
I think the values in the shade are too dark, as I think there would be a greater ambiant/global/bounce-light thing happening here... I could be wrong here.
Good work of simplifying. |

That looks really well done. I just thought you might want to add little details on the doorway like carvings. |

Hey your style shows your getting looser and blocking things in first (as Frost mentioned). It gives off a nice feeling, its warm and inviting.....a nice little posy for a picnic lunch.
How'd you do the crosshatchy pattern throughout?. |

* Pic updated with more detail work *
Guess I just couldn't leave it like that :I
Lightened the darkest shadows as Frost
mentioned, no reason for the ground to be so
dark. Also trees got more leaves on them,
five wasn't enough.
Cross-hatchy feeling must be consequence of
using a lot of custom brushes.
Thanks for commenting, those who replied on the prev jungle thread as well!
