Ok. I lied. They're not either my desktop nor my garden. But I would like that.
Please crit... I'd love to hear what's good and what's not.

And my garden. Well it's not finished. But i put it here anyways. Didn't want to start a new thread in the "in progress" forum. Thought I might as well put it in here.

Wow, nice stuff there. I'm too tired and rushed to bother looking for anything wrong with these and even if I did I probably wouldn't find much. Really dig the details like the shadows casting on the mousepad and what-not. Keep up the good work.

Ah, well, looking at them one last time I'm thinking that the bright area in the water could be cleaned up further. Right now the tiny brush strokes are taking away the fluidity and smoothness of the surface of the water. Yeah, I know that's really picky but based on the rest of your images I think you can clean that up a bit, make it look a little less sketchy. Regardless, very nice images.

Ok, I know I said I was in a rush but when I see good work I have to check to see if there's a site with more of it...and I'm glad I did. You've got some really great stuff!

Just checked out your images and your quickie tutorial. The images are awesome, I like the first couple images in particular. One of your images, the robot one that you say needs to be finished yet, looks a lot like Capt.Flushgarden's man eating an apple. The tutorial was nicely laid out and that trick to get the cool lighting is awesome...I'll have to do my own experiments along those lines.

Anyways, just thought I'd tell you that. Hope to see more stuff from you.

amazing job henrik,

your eye for detail is astounding.. from the lil buttons on the top of you monitor to the photoshop layers on the screen.. truly an amazing peice of artwork. and your lighting is on point..

Only thing that i see wrong is that cd on the desktop next to the marker.. looks a bit flat.. hehe..j/k

really nice garden, the reflection in the water is really nice and the bushes are well rendered..

great job man, can't wait to see more from you

I'm so completely in love with the garden

I have nothing to critisise on and I actually like the way the water looks.

Hey there. Thanks for the response.
As I said earlier, the garden is yet to be finished. But i'll work on it.
About the CD, yeah it's kinda skewed. But I hope I got the colors correct. I did it pretty fast, so...
Thought I'd might show you the robot Flinthawk mentioned.

It's not finished! I did this in just one evening, so there are a lot of things to do. I was thinking about adding metallic wings to it. Or something like that...

I love the dappled (is that a word?) light in the first pic- the way it spatters over the area as if through tree leaves is great and gives the picture a great setting (near a window with leafy trees in summer maybe) without going and literally showing those things. I like.

you're right, your webpage does suck. However, your art is amazing. That's all that matters
