I've painted one of Don Seegmiller's sketches. The sketch is at his site www.seegmiller-art.com. He has an awesome 'toon style and kicks rump at real stuff too.

He has some really tight RPG-element characters there...

About your pic, I like the setup, but think it needs to be cleaned up a little. Other than that, it looks cool. Also, the blood color looks a little too saturated considering his depth. Just my 2.109483 shillings.
