BeeKay,

The paper is this artsy recycled bit that was supplied in the sketch book that I bought and yes I had reference. The sketches are leading up to a painting that I'm working on and that I'll hopefully have done by the end of the month. I'll post some in progress as I progress but I've been kinda busy with the holidays and stuff (you know how that goes).

I'm guessing you worked from real life, woks from a photo usually have a slightly distorted look, anyways these are real ince, I love that technique (I've used it once before, drawing animal skulls, but I havn't got the right paper to use this half the time....
I especially like the second one, it looks clearly thought out, and very dimentional.

Poxen,

Sorry thats not a self portrait. I'm an Korean American banjo player who draws and paints to make a living (and for fun).

The name of the girl in the drawing is Su Jen Bucheim. She's half German and Chinese so it made for a very singular look but sadly she's in Germany now.

Mergatroid,

I really loved your Titan AE pieces, as they showed a great control of line and form. The above sketches really show off your knowledge of value and volume (oo..alliteration). I actually like these more than your Titan AE pieces, as they show more technique and overall artistic prowess.

I agree with Joachim, you better post more or......

Its been a while since I've posted anything so
I thought I'd start again after the new year and here it is. This is a "FINAL" sketch done in pencil and white prismacolor. Comments are definitely welcome.

Late...
