Don't you sometimes feel like you just
want to get out from everything and go in the middle of nowhere where it's just you and the painting

Anyway, critics, comments, tips?

Wow that's excellent! The lighting on the figure, the leaves and on the volcano are fantastic.

Very spectacular! Good job.

Absolutely amazing pic! I agree that the body might be at the wrong angle...that or the canvas he's working on...hmm. Don't take my word for it - I'm certainly no expert...and it's such a small part of the pic, who cares?

i think it's great. The only thing i could suggest would be to make the painting overlap his leg. Right now it looks kinda wierd there, other than that, awesome!

Wow. That's nice partikle. Really love the plams out back and the soft shade where they meet the ground. I think the guy stands out a 'bit' too much where the silhouette is too pronouced for the rest of the scene (the tree leaves in sunlight don't have it). The hyper-green leaves up front don't do it justice though.

Very nice work!

Character.. that damn thing went wrong.. I thought about it and looked and tried to figure it out but after n hours of figuring everything out u start to get blind. Well.. now it seems like the guy is painting air, or the side of the painting. I could sometimes PLAN what I do more carefully.

Hmm.. I tried to create some kind of feeling of depth with those green leaves in the front etc.. I think it works somehow but... hm. Maybe it's not so realistic then.

Anyway, thanks for the critics!

i would feel VERY unsafe there, always lookin over my shoulder for a dinosaur or a jaguar, but the lighting does intrigue me, so i guess it would be worth. be in sweet lighting and die, or live and be with floursescents (<?). nice pic

This is pretty good but the guy and painting doesnt fit.

Sweet pic! The lighting is really good. If I were you I'd replace that guy and the painting with a big dinosaur :) j/k
The big palm tree on the left looks a little artificial, if you know what I mean, compared to the other trees and bushes. If you have any intention of changing it you could try with broader leafs and a little bit more movement. I think that'd do the trick. And man, I love this pic so don't get me wrong... Maybe I'm just picky.. :)

delucubus, That is the original resolution. I made it with photoshop using the paintbrush. Although using resize would have been easier.. oh well..

Looking good...

I thinh part of the reason he seems to be floating is the way he's rimlit all around. The trees should partially block the lightsource behind the guy, so he shouldn't be fully rimlit, right?
