I tried out some animation style lines and coloring today, and came up with this:

I think it ended up pretty good. I'm not good with backgrounds tho, so I had to go without

i like that a lot. nice illustration style. it looks like the kind of thing you'd see in a book or on a greeting card maybe. the only problem i see: his right foot (our left) is tilted so that it looks like he's standing on a hill. it would look better if the foot was more foreshortened, and not tilted down so much.

Your character inspired me to do this quick line drawing. Feel free to do a quick color in, In case you can't tell. It's supposed to be a dragon.

i think your style looks really neat except there's nothing too interesting going on in the pic. adding a BG with the same style might make it smile more i dunno. just rambling.
