Hi there,
Here's a drawing I did for the 3DPalette contest on Apocalyptic Character Design. I did not have time to finish it on time though (just look at her head). But still I spent some time on it and would like to have comments from you people. So here she is

I like it, especially the background.

Couple of things throwing it off though, if you don't mind me saying so.

It's really hard to tell where the light source is. I have no idea why her face is in such deep shadow. Also her neck seems way too long.

Other than that it looks pretty good.

gonna have to agree with zoso. the silhouetted bg is nice, and the overall feel definitely is post apocalyptic. i think there's a bit of confusion on the light logic though.

the concrete ruins she's crouched on seems to show the sunlight coming from the back (also explains the silhouetting, but the gun, right arm and the soulder seem to be lit from the front right (selectively so too, as if through a window?). the left arm is lit differently (almost from the top). the pants and body function independently and don't seem to reflect the harsh lighting at all.

anatomy-wise, the woman's next _is_ a bit long, but i think the main problem is that the head is a bit longish - there's a lot of hair, but it seems to sweep completely back and to the left. it seems that the drawing might need a bit more volume on the right. the hands need a little work too, especially the fingers. you might want to take a look at that (maybe from reference or in a mirror)

Excuse me, but I think that the politically correct term is "biznatch" or "ho." "Ho-bag" is also acceptable. But "biatch"? That's just plain rude.
