Whoa.. god damn there's lots of detail! It doesn't do right to be on screen and downsized to the image. I think you should shade more with darker and get the forms stand out and to make difference in it's parts. Head is getting lost in torso and backhand is messing the overall form. One more thing, even though it's strong outline it's sinking in the background and flattening it. You should make more difference in values of the background and the robot. This is only minor critique overall I like it. yes. I Like it.. a lot.

Wow! Bizarde, this pic is awesome!
I agree with some of the other comments that the head area is quite complex which, at first, makes it quite a task to decipher. However, I agree with all the comments that your stuff has taken a massive leap forward (as if it didn't kick ass before!).
Great stuff Bizarde, look forward to more of this kind of thing. |

Bizarde fkkin WOW!! that is probably one of the best bots i've seen from anyone at this forum! the detail is crazy man, and it looks so worked out and everything... sumthin reminds a little of the Guyver Bio Booster anime stuff which I totally love too. I just feel sorry for anyone who will have to redraw this guy! |

Here is my attempt at coloring it. I used the original pic, not the high res. I am still new to Photoshop...well digital coloring anyway. Hope it is ok.
This was done by mouse btw.

Let me tell you how much I like this bot you drew... LOTS!
There is so much mecha design in here, from so many different artists. Of course, I see the Gundam inspiration in the foot design and the waist (those flaps on the side are all "samurai"ized like Gundams usually are).
I also see some of the "Virtual On" (SEGA) fine points that the same Gundam guy did for Sega. Basically, he made them look like NIKE shoes... heh. Cool with lots of curvilinear shapes and mutliple armor platings.
I also see some of Todd McFarlane's more eccentric Spawn figures peeking out of this pic... "Manga Spawn", the evil "Techno Spawn" and the way cool upcoming "Interlink 6" series of big-footed robots that will all form together to make an ultra-mega-spawn bot.
I had to color it just so I could spend that time actively anaylyzing it. It was color it or drool over it... one is more fun. :P
I also spent 45 minutes drawing a 4-legged spider bot based on inspiration from this bot , but I realized you didn't post anything in that 4 hour figure regarding the concept sketches that are quite NECCESARY before undertaking sweet bots like this.
Okay, enough spooging over bots, here's my "HESS truck" coloring job. Thanks again. I'll post my spider-bot if I draw enough bits and pieces separate first

WoW! awesome job guyz, especially Sporq's, which is more close than what i wanted. Rage lion and Sergenth dont get mad on me, i really appreciate your good intention, thanx.
Rage, for example yours is too mudy, and the bot is allready too havy in details.
and yours Sarge, i think is too toy like. i was thinking to make him more ...solid?!
but finally i'm happy with those pics, thank you guyz
ok Sarge, look what i was playing to get in the mood. enjoy it !

seeing it colored gives me a much greater appreciation for it. the black and white version just hurts my head looking at it. I never really did like those comicy things that were hard to digest everything at once. regardless of my opinion of whether i like it or not, i can see there is a ton of skill that was put in there. Very strong lines with a great sense of volume there. Sergenth, that coloring job compliments it wonderously!

Bizarde- I used the original drawing, not the high rez. Plus I wanted a more weathered look to it...since it is a mech that has been used in battle.
