I never thanked Periadam and Isric for their comments on my first post so if oyu read this thankyou.
Here's the 2nd version of my tin gods piece.
With the left and right panels I wanted to go for a mix of sepia tones and colour and kept the centre panel in full colour.
Anyways, let me know what you think.
Thanks.

i like the style..
[crit] hair leaves shadows (third image) her breasts are off center (third image) and the body of the first guy looks flat

Thanks for your comments.
synj: You been drinking or are you just reminiscing about old cartoons. Remember Ulysses 31, Thundercats, He-man, M.A.S.K, Dungeons and Dragons and the list goes on.
Shardik: I was concentrating more on the faces than what could be seen of their bodies. Thanks for pointing out the missing shadows on the woman, I missed that for some reason.
mattready: Periadam pointed that out too. I guess my head wasn't on straight when I was doing this as I forgot to correct that problem.

Hey Axl, I really like how this picture is coming out, I remember seeing it the last time. But the one thing that still sticks out to me is the middle guy's tattoo. It still kinda looks like its floating. I would try and do what you did for the other 2 people's tattoo's. You blended their's in with the skin a lot better. The middle guy's tattoo especialy stands out on the nose.
Oh and one other thing on the middle dude. His scars look a little funny. I wish i could explain myself better. Like where the scar goes through the tatoo, i think it might look better and would help the tatto if the scar is visible through the tatoo.
Sorry i couldn't help out more, but I hope pointing out a few things that bug me helps. |
