My very first complete digital painting. I'm so proud...
It was done in Photoshop with a mouse. (uninthusiastic) yay... Can't wait until I get enough cash for a Wacom. Anyway, here it is, in all it's glory.
Please critique and comment to your heart's desire!

Drawing with a mouse is kinda like drawing with a bar of soap. Good effort. Keep stroking.

Well, i think this one deserves to go up again... I like it, nice. I've never really tried to draw with a mouse. Well, actually I tried 15 years ago or something on the Commodore 64, but I thought it sucked, and got back at using the joystick... (I hope I'll never see anything of that work ever again) I think it's very hard. My critics goes to the eye, his eyeball is one it's way out of the skull. I'd go for a more relaxed eye..

Looks better than most people that first started painting with a mouse.
I know it's difficult and takes alot of time, but if it's possible, try to add some more details and coloring to the background. That would make the picture more interesting. |

IT'S CONSIDERED IMPOLITE TO WRITE IN ALL-CAPS SHIJIMA! Oops, was I shouting?
KroM, I like your work here, especially for your first completed piece. Very well done, but I agree with the previous crits and would suggest you continue to add detail. Oh, and I too use a mouse and hate it. But soon I'll have a tablet... hopefully.

It's the artist again, I had a question or two, hoping you experienced folk could help me out.
I want to sharpen this pic up and add more details, but I'm not exactly sure how I can do that. I want to fix the background too, but I'm not all that great with backgrounds. So, please give me all of your expert advice.
