It's been a while since I last posted. Anyway, my friend came up with this idea for a vampire gunslinger and I did this drawing originally in pencil. Just colored it this morning. Crits are welcome. I'm really curious to see what you all think

I think he should have one more belt in there splitting the shirt and pants. Looks like he has a jumpsuit on now.. which makes him look a little light in the slippers with that pose. He looks more like a matador than a gun slinger with that cape. I probably would have went with a black trench coat old school western style with the shoulder flap things and I would have made the bottom of it like a flowing cape.

You have a great style though. I like your pics.

Well, the idea itself is kinda ridiculous because he couldn't shoot his gun during the day cause he'd get fried, so he's gotta be really lucky to hit something....but a really excellent job on the painting anyways :P

i like the character but if i wanted to get picky about it, id say the arms look a lot bigger then the rest of his body in proportion. personally i like it with the larger arms adds to the style of the character.. just pointing it out if u hadnt noticed

cool, i would spend a bit of time on the gun handle. it looks warped.

i like the way you made the vest and cape conect together. but the hat reminds me of vampire hunter D, its not a bad thing its just that when i look at the image all i see is that dumb girl with the horse.

Very cool. Interesting texture. I'd have to agree with Chapel that another belt across the waist is needed. or just perhaps just folds in the shirt... but then again it's perfectly fine to wear ... jumpsuits. This guys got one HUGE gun

Hi Agent44 !
Interesting pic.

But having digging so much in your web space and have seeing such a lot of incredible drawings I must admit that this one is, maybe, one of your weaker pieces...

In your same style I prefer a lot (a really lot more) your guy with the rocket on the back that you did some time ago, or the masked guy "katana" (i think you called him that way).

And talking about these drawings, Im really curious about how you colored them with that interesting texture... ???

But without any doubt I keep on prefering your "Missile mouse vs.Blazing bat" and my favourite: "that with a lot of animal pilots and an fat airplane..."
What a COOL pic !!! !!!
and what an ASTOUNDING chara-dessing !!! !!!
Can you tell me something about this master-piece ?

Thanks.

Sorry about long message.

Hey, cool pic, I love the hand on the hip pose, and the textures on the different parts of the costume.

One thing though....why are the bullet belts upside-down? Normally, rimmed pistol ammunition like this (probably 44-40?) is kept the other way up, to stop the bullets from falling through the little leather loops on the belt. Just a small detail though, I guess I'm just obsessed with guns....

Nice illustration though!!
Cheers, A.

Chapel- thanks, I agree he does need another belt. I wanted him to look more vampire than cowboy which is why I skipped the trench coat.

Golongria-thanks.

surferboi- I tried to draw his arms bigger, and mess with proportions a little. Thanks for noticing.

FaithInChaos- true, the gun is a little tweeked.

SuperHero 1- thanks.

Dives-what's rotf?

EviLToYLeT- point taken. I'll remember tht in the future.

Sempere- I appreciate your honesty. I didn't spend as much time or thought on this one as I normally do. I'm glad you like the other ones. About the animal pilots pic, It's an idea I have for a story. I'm working up the back story right now, but I'm not sure how much of a role the animals in that pic will play in it. Oh, and I like your gladiator picture. nice style.

A- I never thought of that, thanks for pointing that out.
