A Trunk Monkey is a fictitious creature that was created by a member on the Subaru Message board. I always thought it was kind dumb/cute (whatever). That was, until, there was a post about how some Deer was standing in the middle of the street, and the Trunk Monkey got out and yelled at it. For some reason I felt like drawing the image, but I didn't want to spend a ton o' time on it (~7 hrs). Here it is:
There is a larger image...

Will,
Right on. Nice pic btw. Cool idea. One of the guys here at Presto does rally cross. He's on the Subaru forum quite a bit.
galen,
Just a little advice on CIA. Learn as much as you can OUTSIDE of class. What they teach at CIA isn't enough. There's plenty of commuity centers and schools that offer inexpensive life drawing classes. Take as many as you can. Traditional skills are important.

Galen,
Last I heard about CIA, is that they really cut back on the traditional classes (from when Mike and I attended). I haven't been there to find out if its true or not, tho' it wouldn't surprise me.
Your traditional skills are EXTREMELY important (this cannot be stressed enough). If your classes aren't focusing on these enough, you may want to check out The Rocky Mountain College of Art. When I did go to CIA, many times I would do extra study outside of class over there. Around 7pm the school would host a figure drawing class (you didn't have to be a student). All you needed was drawing stuff and about $5.
Remember, the computer is no more a tool than a pencil.

Y'know what, Galen?
Never mind that last post, I found some of your art. You got the traditional skillz.
