My first painted attempt on my wacom. Is it too sketchy? I am having a hard time refining a pic without blurring it all up.
Please Crit...but don't kill it/me

I really like the image although the eyes struck me first up. They appear to be too large with the head too big (maybe if you could post the source imagae that would be good). The guy looks like he has a huge forehead, a 'ring' sitting on top of that and then some hair, it just looks to high. The rest looks pretty good and the background works well not being in focus.

the chainmail is amazing - how did you do it?
the eyes and the moustache don't fall along the same parallel line, and the eyes seem too wide and too wide apart (which is what I think other people were commenting on)
try to spend more time sketching before you get started, and you won't get little problems like this proportion & perspective one |

Really cool. If you sharpen it up a bit and add some more detail it would really rock. |

Very good for early work with wacom. I think you should try to work from larger shapes down to smaller ones, and do less fiddling with small brushes. It will make the picture stronger, and the work go faster.
