Hi all...
this is a piece I'm working on.
I know the perspective on the castle-thingies is off, but I sort of like the tilted feeling they have.
I'm not sure about the colours though... any suggestions or crits?

hey, e! Liking it. Interesting reminds me of sets/backgrounds for Sumari Jack. As for the colours, currently there is too much of a contrast. but as soon as you start with the rendering of the foreground I am sure that will change. |

If you could get some of the yellowish light onto the rocks and characters in the forground the image will not look like two images put on top of eachother.. other than that I really like the image so far.
There's a series of books called Necroscope by Brian Lumley and one of them is about a parralel dimension where vampires dwell in castles.. - I imagined them very much like your drawing - coincidence? ![](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

I know about the big blue/yellow contrast... I fixed it now, I think, by making it a cave exit instead.
I also faded the sky-colours a bit.'
Ecanem > I'm not familiar with the books, but maybe I should read them :-)
