This is actually something im working on for a contest on a 3d site, but i thought it could be interesting for someone here too. The goal is to complete a huge mothership with main weapon, and a fighter that would be docked on the main ship in great numbers.

looks nice, I think you should put the main weapon at the control room (that little building at the end of the ship).

I�d make the part with the fighter bays a little less boxy, maybe swoop it back a little, or add little wings to the sides - that would take care of that big blank area outside of the fighter bays. |

Im gonna add the main tubular weapon in the middle. I know the docks must be worked on.. i think ill make them smaller to show even bigger scale of the ship, and add some detail there, doors or some internal detail. GOtta remember there is a 3000 polygon limit, so im doing the major stuff first and then using up the rest of polygons on detail. |
