Painting I'm currently working on, been posting the steps at ebonykeep and eatpoo, figured I would post them here as well.
The story behind it is that she seduced a man of great wealth and killed him for his fortune. In this scene she is calmly disposing of the evidence.

Beautifully done, Jez. I'd like to see a little bit of the texture present in the background carry over to the main figure, but I realize that the surfaces involved are much smoother and that it's still a WIP. Besides, it's a minor thing. Superb work. |

Don't pay much attention to my opinion, because I doubt many share it... but I find the early steps at least as nice as the final one. |

its interesting that the trees dont cast shadows on her, making her stand out

really cool pic! i like the hair very much, the color of the skin is very well chosen
it seems like her dress is dissapering in the grass, i like that very much too (spooky effect).
