I finally had some time to sit down and put to use some of the suggestions I got last week (thanks to Max and AndyT), and I /think/ it's looking alot better.
Oh, and I know there's some anatomical issues. Some are because I'm trying to give it somewhat of an artificial/cyborg kind of look, and others (like the left shoulder) are simply pissing me off.
Suggestions are more than welcome.

You improved !!!!
Well done.
Andy's tip isn't bad but you also could try my
way.
Alright: Lower opasity is my suggestion. Bigger brushes like Andy said. And not ONLY the penicil brush. I know alot people say "take the pencilbrush" but i'ts anly good for deail ( me thinks ) and for the body a airbrush at 50 percent hardness is better.....find the way which works best for you.
Btw.: add more colors. a bit reddish/yellowish/pinkish brings more reality IMHO.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably put them to use in my next work, as I'm getting a little tired of looking at this one
Oh, and I chose these colors to give it a more artificial "cyborg"-ish feel. I'll try for more realism next time. |

looks good, the only thing that sticks out is the shoulder you mentioned... the arm seems to be a little too far out - how about lengthening the biceps a little, as well as moving the whole arm (including the triceps) a few points to the left? Then his torso and back wont seem so massive. |
