n8- looks pretty good go with it. I can only suggest that you look at moving the foreground leg a little to the right just to solidify the center of gravity. he looks a bit off balance. |

Check for balance issues. Seems to me he's tipping backwards. |

I agree about the stance issue. Nice start anyway! Looks like there could be some pretty suit design in the end.
By the way, does anyone remember the starcraft artwork by duck? That kicked major behind. Does he have a homepage? |

ok, i'll give it a try about the pose. I think the problem is not the direction of the torso, but rather the angle between the legs. Try directing the front leg more outwards(more pointing towards the viewer), that would solve the balance issue I think. I'm sorry I can't do a paintover since my wacom is screwed up, but this will hopefully help.. And, me too likes the first sketches wee bit more. Guess it's the lack of smudging. I like the gun more in the first ones, too. the perspective is rather difficult to handle in your last alteration. Just don't exaggerate it, I guess.. Hope i'm not a complete pain in the ass. I'm looking forward to seeing this in the gallery forum! Good luck!
