A first attempt at high-contrast near-photorealism. The people were drawn from scratch, but I've used some reference for the background and the wrinkles on the coat. My question is: what are the most glaring errors? (What makes it look different from a high-contrast photo?)

Too bright? Especially the faces I guess. Missing shadows/texture?
The left half of the bg does not make sense or is not as easy to ?understand? as the right one?
I'd either change the backgrounds color (black/gray) or change the figures (darker blue)...
But I guess it's the brightness that bugs me most. |
