I'm working on this at the moment.
Just looking for feedback.

Things I can't decide:
Color of the shirt - red ? white? black? etc?
Background....?
Any tipps...?

Just the name of the image came into my mind: Blackbird
I don't know why but I think it fits.

Good start... I'd make her shirt a dark redish color. For the background, I'd make it very dark with some hint or shaft of light from a small window or light bulb.

This is one of the best of your pieces I've seen. Keep it up....

What/Who is he/she prisonner of? some kind of inherited culpability? Very young to feel guilty... I doubt that evil can be inborn. Give us a clue somewhere in the piece to help us understanding what you mean by that; something that could turn that pretty pic into a meaningful piece of art.

Hi Max,
this sure has great potential! Like the expression even now.
Don't ask me why, but I have the following picture in mind: BG is dark, gloomy, but light enough to give contrast to the girl. There's a weak/limited lightsource, like eyewoo suggested. The girl is kept very dark, her hair, her clothes, all black (?), to convey a kind of dignified sadness. The bars of her prison are made of gold (yeah I know: clich� ).

eyewoo: Thank you very much, I really appreciate your input. I think that a black BG with a weak lightsource is perfect.
I'll make the shirt in a dark reddish color like you said.

I started drawing this girl and anyhow she got a sad face and....well, I thought this bars are a good additament.
Also don't know if these are jail-bars....
A clue...that's not easy...we will see.
