i've been looking at some plastic masks online but cant really seem to get it right...i dunno...forget the picture itself, im just trying to get the effect of PLASTIC...so..does this look anything like plastic??

I think there are different kinds of surfaces to different kinds of plastic. You can surf the net for some latex-clad gals for that shiny look, if that's what you want. If the surface is very smooth and hard, you'll get hard, defined highlights. Yours are too smudged, I think.
Use reference! Go into your kitchen and pick up a plastic bowl or two. Paint it quickly, and post the result here, please

yea im not too good with highlites---they are way too smudgey now that i look at it...can you infer a little more on the latex girl masks you juss wrote about...not too sure wut that is exactly---i'll take a stab at the bowl speed painting |

i dont think this bowl is the right kind of plastic--it was a good excercise non-theless
it doesnt even look like a bowl though...well from faraway it does...thanx for the practice!! now about those plastic masks...i just think it doesnt look like a plastic mask mainly since it's too realistic for a plastic mask...more like a rubber mask ya know??

Did a quick overpaint.
I think it looks better now.
Just smuged a bit and added more highlight.

max, you ARE the man...thanx, it looks good...THE SMUDGE TOOL!! that's something i should use...i used it when i first got ps6 but then just sorta forgot about it...if you take a look at all my recent work you'll realize im kinda rough when painting...any way thanx (link to my "gallery" >>---> http://[email protected]/andres |
