Someone had to ask.... what exactly are we rating people on? The quality of their art? Their constructive contributions to the forum? Their entertaiment value?

Can I edit my ratings of people I've already rated? Some days faustgfx makes me laugh so he's a 5, but then some day's he's just an ass so I think he only deserves a 2 or so.

My thoughts precisely, although perhaps with less vomit.

In my most humble of opinions, ratings can only be a bad thing. People will either be giving their buddies high marks, or giving their hated low marks. Popularity contests are the last thing this muscle flexing, ego stroking, virtual handjobbing crowd needs. At least, thats what I think.

But, what the heck. If you don't like it, better to simply ignore it than whinge about it. I'm just glad the place is back at all, I really couldn't care less about the new features. I come here for the people and their art, not the interface.

I agree with SlightlyTwisted... they're just a distraction. And what happened to the text saying where you're from? I found it quite interesting to see where people come from.
