Hello all, my first image post here at Sijun. Been inspired from what I've seen of the artists in this forum.

I haven't posted anything, anywhere for a long time, so I thought I'd better post something to get in the swing of things, again. And so have squeezed in some time to get to this image created in ZBrush. Postwork in Photoshop.



My plans for this one includes some general punching up to the dynamic range. Painting in some toes. Including a multi-colored psychedelic background. And if I'm not tired of this image, a type of clock hanging from his neck.

Very nice textures. I like how the skin looked, especially his hand. The shirt's reflected blue light and smoothness make it look a bit plastic.
Is the model also done in z-brush?

Thanks, Hunago. Glad you liked the hand. I still have more work to do on it, actually. As for the shirt, yeah... it's a bit plastic looking. I had originally something with less specular, but it began to lose the quazi-airbrush quality I was after. The finished piece will have the chest area partially obscured by a clock/watch hanging from his neck. I think the blue hilight area, you menioned, will have a more important role at that time.

Yes, everything was modeled, textured and rendered in ZBrush. Some Levels adjustments and postwork (the fingernails, mostly) done in PS 7.
