I did this image yesterday 'trying' to get the whole 'gorillaz' look down unfortunately only ended up making something new in the process. I'm tracing over this in illustrator at the moment, thought I'd throw this up to crits while i still have a ways to go on this. Should I make him a nerd or a spy/agent type of dude? I'll posts updated pics as I update the image.

well done, I don't see anything to crit. perhaps some lines indicating the the sholders would help. |

I'm starting to dig illustrator finally, did this one in class last night from the scanned image above.
Any comments on the line weight from any illustrator guru's? I'm not sure if I'm on the right track totally yet..

Well, I don't know about illustrator, but from a pure line quality perspective, the thick, heavy line on the top of the hair is throwing me off some. |
