The model on the left is a refined version of the original on the right. After adding details to the older version it lost it's clean edge flows. Too many 3 sided poly's for my liking. The resulting cleanup is the left model. Although still in symmetry at the moment this model has greater animation potential as there are fewer tri poly's creating a more refined setup. So no horrible deformations I hope. I'm currently looking at creating morph states for this
model. Any tips from morph users? Or should I use bones - not that good with bones though. Painting weightmaps upsets me.
C&C more than welcome!
Cheers,
Chris

Your mesh has indeed intact edge loops! I was really surprised that such a nice work has not received any critics or feedback. Perhaps you better post your work to more 3D oriented forums such as cgtalk and so! Let me know when you are finished with your old man's animation.
Good luck

Thanks Saeid. I was beginning to wonder if this post would ever get a response. Thanks for the comments. Anims not my strongest skill so it mayybe awhile yet! Maybe it'll be a few still expressions for now. I've checked your site, very nice work on there. Might just be asking for some advice on anim in the future!
