Looks good but women=curvy, a great book for learning is Drawing Cutting Edge Comics -- by Christopher Hart; It's a really good book to help you out in some of the basic areas that would help your pic out.
nice start tho! |

The first thing I would do is try to lay in that position (but I won't, because it looks painful), then I'd scour references for a busty woman in a similar pose. Try catalogs (Vic's comes immediately to mind) and soft core web sited (if you're of age).
Off the bat, the perspective seems way off. If this is going on a car, I'd almost think it would be mandatory to work with the lines of the car. If you have body parts crossing over the top of where the air dam pops out, it's going to make it look funky at any angle other than exactly 90 (straight on to the door). Also, is the car used more in cruising and sitting or going fast?. That should impact the design.
As far as the figure, I'm a bit of a leg man and those chicken thighs just don't really make her look attractive or slutty, just skinny (in a bad way). Of course, it could be coming from the pose.
I like the idea of the "demon hand bra" (registered trade mark), but pulling the chest apart is usually the opposite of what bras do (It's cleavage that wins the day). And it may just be a preference, but high line panties (the strap goes much higher on the hip) tend to accentuate the crotch vice the width of the hips.
Sorry this is so long and seems so negative, but if it didn't strike me in the first place, I wouldn't have responded. Let me know if you need anything clarified (I often confuse myself). |

color concept
as for the contour of the car... its doors are TOTALLY flat and it will be above the ground effects... the slit in the door is going to be compinsated.. but then again we have a really phat decal dude that can cut all of it and make it look phat.

Dude, people have been giving you suggestions and you have ignored them. Wut up wit dat. she lloks like she has been starving her self. make the legs and arms thicker, she really doenst look sexy now. and that top boob is defying gravity. you should fix these things and it would look much better. It wouldnt take much time to fix either, your drawing isnt all that complicated. Dont always be in a rush to do stuff, you'll find that your art looks much better if you take your time.
If you fix these things it should look pretty damn good. |

I have been listening and takiing consideration of every comment... but right now the client REALLY likes it. And its not just him he went to kinkos and printed a poster of it and everyone who see's it says its fuckin awesome. Now i'm not trying to be braggin or anything like that. The idea behind this piece was to create a chick that the client would like. He said.. skinny arms and legs.. huge tits... like an anime chick... that was his directions.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to post this for crits... since its different than what I normally do, and the fact that I just wanted to have fun with it and do what I feel like, within reason for the client to like it. Though I really like hearing what other artists think about it. The people who I'm making this for are not artists, and look at it differently than artists.
I thank you all for your critiques, and if I had more time to do this, I may have put to use some of them, but, the client said don't change anything... that usually means they are very happy.
Thanks. |

yeah... I really respect all the people on here... its not about that. If I was doing a fine art piece I would take more of the crits to heart, but also everyone is entitled to their opinions. Some like it, some don't. I just hope people don't see me as a bad artist, because I don't listen to what everyone tells me to do. I think if I did that, then I would be a bad artist.
BTW.. I thought I'd share a funny story with ya.
I made a background image/poster of this and sent it to my friend. He then went to kinkos to have it blown up.
The LADY at the counter took the disc and went to print it, and my friend went and sat down at a table. She then yells across the store to a male employee, "Ted, will you print this... its PORN!"....

No offence, but why are there highlights in her hair?
While were on the topic, why are there 39048939847 highlights on her body? You seem to have about a thousand concentrated light sources coming from every single direction. You might want to play with texture a little bit in your next piece. |

Raven I think people are saying is that make sure that you think it is good before you give it up to the client. Some clients have no idea, that is why they come to you. Be sure that is something that you are truly, truly proud of. Because once it is out there, it is out there. As for the picture, I think that she looks like a manaquin, very rigid and uncomfortable. The breast look a little high, the hips look a little tiny, which influences the torso, and I think that the legs need to be longer. |
