Here's what I tried so far (thanks again to Cicinimo).

I used a pic of the Matterhorn (Switzerland) as reference. I have trouble cutting clear edges though and it looks a bit like a lot of waterfalls instead of stone. Can someone help?

Well, I will certainly not dare give any advice about things I have no idea about. BUT I remembered this very nice mountain by Cicinimo, which can still be found here:

And there was also a sweet series of mountain-studies done by Joachim Barrum as basis for that game "Blafjell". Can't find it now, though.
