i decided to post step by step, from finished linework, to the sketch of shadows, to the almost finished final piece. I always enjoy when other people do this, so i'm followin in their footsteps. 
P.S. the sketch pics are quite small in size so it shouldn't be a big download.

| Tell me where is the gapped steps between the second and third image ? it looks almost like a different medium :X |

it is a different medium... second one is just a enlarged printout of the first one, with sketched in shadows, done in pencil.
Third one is a traced contour of first, and painted with Acrylic airbrush color (almost like water color) with four washes of different color opacity, based on the sketch of second... its a bit slow since i have to trace out the drawing over a lighttable to actually be able to finally paint it, but it works.... |
