In my opinion. no. What is the purpose of this work? To me it is senseless. I have no use of this kind of work, unless. I say unless it is for movie production or like a personal statement, it not constructive use of your time.
Just an opinion, if you feel like you enjoy doing this type of work. Continue on. I just hope that you have the maturity to expand and explore. As for you painting, drawing skills, some more study of the human anatomy would be benifical. Try drawing an underpainting like 2-3 times.
Good luck with your artwork. |

its a statement. left side of the "scale" are eyes, outside. Right side, the heavier side, are hearts, inside. In other words, its whats on the inside that counts in a crude way. |

Actually, work like then tend to be known more for their revulsion factor than any sort of message.
My belief is that there are always better ways to deliver a message than to shock them with it. |

It's easy to shock, but to make people ponder...therein lies the art.

Whatever guys...art can be made to just look cool too, but whatever, I'm not here to argue. I dig the picture, although you really overused the smudge tool. I really dig the concept too, after you explained it, it makes it a lot neater. The nipple strings are kinda cheesy too. Good job though. |

Wow, I really didn't think it was that bad and disgusted some people that much.
I'll agree that its pretty smudgy at this point. I guess I'll just leave it be then.
I remember seeing some of Luis Royo's work in a book store. I had the same initial thoughts when I seen allot of. Demons doing girls and all that goolosh. But then after looking at it a while and seeing his other works, I started to understand it. |
