Its lookin good so far. The first thing that sticks out is the lack of shadows and contrast in the figure. Darken the shaded areas and lighten up the highlights. His hand thats raised is a little off. Look at your own hand to draw it. Id also recommend lookin at some pictures of wrinkles in skirts or dresses to get his robe right on.
Im lookin forward to seeing how it turns out.

Last time I did a female portrait and I really appreciated the help Now I'm trying out something new 'painting in color with photoshop' OK I JUST started this so it looks absolutely crap but i need some tips on what i should work on etc... :X I'm thinking I'll cut the scene/image in half so less legs and ground.. Erm the name of the image is Fate Of The Damned. I wanted to draw angel wings and I chose a theme of an angel casting chaos on a city or something. I know I know they suck so far but I'll put effort into them last, at least what I'm thinking, but first well I think I should do the body generally then the background hmm what are your thaughts. Those grey puddly blocks are just doodles of buildings.. hmm anywho all feedback and critique appreciated (bad or good i dont mind the you suck aproach either haha)

Looks nice.. interesting concept.

You could really improve it if you fix the guys anatomy.. His arms arent shaped right.. his eyes are too high up on his head they should be in the middle...

Go do an image search and look at the wings of real birds and copy those on to this guy.

Same goes with the robe.. look at cloth hanging and copy that like you see it

Keep practising and you'll be great very soon

Hey I dun wana sound silly but :X would you be kind to draw on the image the corrections u would consider obligatory or even some ideas u might have that i should add/remove, it really helps when ppl draw right on lines that say well u see anatomy should be this way or whatever, helps me visualize and remember at least i think (like last time when i drew http://www.cgocable.net/~miki/sketches/secondportrait_final.jpg

Note my problem is dealing with color, i wana make this portrait super-realistic, detailed while portraying the idea with emotion somewhat thats my idea anyways.. im not paying attentions to the wings as i intended to, im more interested in the theme now, i drew really great wings before but im just not interested in them atm. Please post Look at my freaky eyes!

I'm also afraid with shading, i sometimes feel i overshade :X SO thats why im being very light. When I shade there is like barely any white left in the end :P just slight slight white is left :P everything else is crazy looking gradient like thingies goin on and rockin the image hehe.. aaanyways :X ya heh
