you should consider turning ur monitors brightness down from 100%

Thanks guys I appreciate you all checking out the site. Well, Neff, I am 31...generally I feel pretty damn old and behind the power curve 'round here, but we are always working to improve, don't you know!
Thanks, X, I will hopefully be able to start coloring this soon...so, as Peter Parker would say "...stay tuned, true believer!"

the perspective is way way confusing and the legs are way way out of proportion.
Thats constructive criticism. Don' t mean to be a prick

Well, you achieve it effortlessly...do you get me? Construction means you provide a solution, as well a critique...BTW you have some more votes, now...other than your own

Well, sure Stan Lee says it now, and I suppose he wrote it first...but you know, I was thinkin', like P.P. would be sayin' it in the comic, what have you

I really like the drawing. Brings back memories of when I collected comics
Hope you don't mind but I thought it would be fun to color.

i actually love the perspective angle... it is confusing... it makes me even dizzy a bit, but thats really really cool, coz it feels as if he is really really up high on top of some skyscraper.

All of the pictures are really nice I must say

Though one thing I noticed with this latest picture and the one that started the thread, is that you both draw Spider-Man to muscular. As a S-M ready since I was like 4 years old (almost 18 now, and have been reading them all the last 3 or 4 years), I noticed it quite quickly. Just thought I would mention it, they all still look stunning though, but spider-man is the slim kinda guy.

mindsiphon,
WOW! Holy CRAP! That is just a beautiful CG! I think you could take my lineart and it would stand on its own! Great work on the reflected highlights from the roof's surface. *GAK* I have alot of collabs to update my site with (as long as its OK with you to post this, there).

X-ecutioner,
Hey, man, that is cool. Excellent motion, action, and mood. You, know, you could really post this in your own thread! I appreciate that you posted it here, but it really is your own spin on Spidey, if you will (you would also get more c&c, I'd bet Just a quick note, your perspective on the 'scraper on the right appears a tad skewed. On the facing side, I am not sure if you drew the windows parallel to each other or not, but it might look a little better if you had the windows converging to a VP out to the left. I hope that makes sense. Regardless, it s a great picture, I really like your interp on Spidey

Deepfish,
Thank you kindly, much appreciated That is what I was goin' for!

Juan-Philipo,
Valid point I was going for lanky/cut, and he did come out on the beefy side. I was primarly influenced by Stan Lee's work on Spidey from the early 80's...At that time, Big Stan the Man was still drawing Spidey and his artwork influenced me a great deal. I am glad you like and thanks for the c&c

I think that the legs look wrong because of the wrong perspective.
The foreground leg looks smaller then the backgrownd.
I would exagerate the perspective a little to fix it.

X,

Its all good! I mean, I appreciate that you posted in here, I'm well honored, in fact. I just thought you might want to start your own thread to get more c&c (ie more folks will see it). No biggies, either way, its a really good pic
